How to use DVD Ripper to rip and convert DVD |
Step1. Download the DVD Ripper, double click to install it, and then launch the DVD Ripper.
Step2. There are four ways to import your DVD movie files as follow:
- Load from DVD-Rom: Put your DVD movie disc into your DVD-Rom and load it.
- Load DVD folder (data DVD), sometimes you may store the DVD folder in your hard drive, it appears like 'Video_TS' 'Audio_TS' folders. You can import it by clicking 'load DVD folders'.
- Load ISO image files, you can amount your ISO files with daemon tools and then load the DVD movie from the virtual DVD drive.
- Load IFO Files: Click 'Load IFO file' to import your DVD movie by loading IFO files.
Step3. Click the Profile Dropdown list to select your output format. Here are some tips:
- If you want to copy DVD to computer in 1:1 lossless quality for backup or burning to another blank disc, please select 'Lossless DVD Copy (*.vob)'.
- For converting DVD to iPod, iPhone, iPad, PSP, Zune, Cell phone, Apple TV, etc. You can select the proper profile according to your player type.
- If you want to import DVD into Windows Movie Maker or Sony Vegas for editing, you can chose “WMV – Windows Media Video (*wmv)” profile.
- For adding DVD movie into iTunes and Quicktime, 'MOV - Quicktime (*.mov)' is the best profile.
- You can also use this DVD Ripper to extract the audio tack from DVD to MP3, WMA, AAC songs.
Step4. Select the subtitle and audio track you prefer. Click 'Convert' to run the conversion. That's all. When the task is finished, you can click Find Target to locate your converted DVD file.
